The award was presented to Mr. Gulu Lalvani, the owner and developer of Royal Phuket Marina at the gala presentation dinner which took place at the Marriott, Grosvenor Square in London.
Now entering their 13th year these awards are truly global, with entrants eligible from any country in the world. The 16 award categories encompass estate agents, property developers, architects, interior designers and many other areas of the residential property trade.
The panel of award judges is made up of distinguished experts in the fields of property, design, construction, property writers and fellow sponsors.
Royal Phuket Marina’s ‘Best International Design’ accolade was awarded as a result of the lavishly designed Aquaminium Condos and Royal Villas which form part of the marina’s Phase Two expansion. The marina is the only development in Phuket to win an award.
The interior designs at Royal Phuket Marina were created by Royal Phuket Marina’s own in-house team of interior designers. The same team is now working its magic on the largest and most exclusive residence – the stunning Grand Villa – incorporating a central residence and four guest villas amid lush tropical grounds. Commanding exclusive views over the Mediterranean-style marina, the ‘Grand Villa’ embraces 1,960 m2 (21,097 sqf) of interior designed accommodation including the world’s most admired fixtures and fittings. With its own private driveway and five-car garage, outdoor terraces connect through to a 25-meter swimming pool and private 70 meter boat berth.
The two, three and four bedroom state of the art Aquaminium residences are also gems of contemporary interior design while incorporating the very best elements of traditional Thai culture. The eight condominium types offer the world’s most unique lifestyle choice and investment opportunity. All residents can utilise the boat dock with marina staff on standby to bring a yacht to the doorstep.
The elite collection of eight Royal Villas, five with their own 23 meter (75.5 ft) private yacht berth, are the most prestigious homes at the marina. Set in 750 m2 (8,073 sqf) of living space, the Royal Villas offer a level of luxury rarely found in the region. The gardens feature a 20 meter infinity pool, a traditional sunken dining sala, wet bar and cabana built on top of and surrounded by a pond and waterfall. These expansive residences, full of light and space, open on to sweeping panoramas of the marina and Andaman Sea.
Our new developments offer something completely unique to the market and the interior designs are luxurious, modern, yet reflective of Thai style,” said Mr. Gulu Lalvani. “We are thrilled the marina has been recognised in these prestigious awards and to be in the company of so many other worthy recipients,” he added.
