Living Free: Maggie Q Visits RPM
Maggie Denise Quigley (Maggie Q), the famous Hollywood actress of “Mission: Impossible III” and “Live Free or Die Hard” fame visited Royal Phuket Marina (RPM) on Thursday 27 March, 2008 while on holiday.
The star was warmly welcomed by RPM Chairman Mr. Gulu Lalvani and the RPM management team, and invited to join the launch of Royal Phuket Marina’s state of the art Health Club on the evening of 4 April.
Gesturing at the surrounding environs of Royal Phuket Marina, she remarked, “It’s so modern and so beautiful, I feel like I’m somewhere in Europe. It’s extraordinary how the standards [on the island have risen]. I haven’t been back in Phuket in about five years, so it’s really amazing.”
The Los Angeles-based actress added “[The Club] is gorgeous. I’m an exercise freak. I exercise every day so this, for me, is heaven.”
Born to Polish-Irish/Vietnamese parents, the striking actress is a big fan of Phuket, having visited many times in the past. “I love Phuket. I’ve been coming here for ten years. I haven’t been back in a while but it’s one of my favourite places in the world so I’m happy to be back.”
